In November of 2018, Sam traded the Great Lakes for the great mountainous landscapes of Montana and has been happily living, working, and recreating here ever since. For the past five years, Sam has built up her freelance photography and videography career, documenting everything from weddings to whitewater.

Before moving to Montana, Sam lived in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She spent her summers guiding on Lake Superior, and attended Northern Michigan University, where she attained her BFA in Digital Cinema.
