Jen is from New Jersey and joined Outlaw Partners in June 2023. She attended Denison University in Ohio and studied psychology and narrative journalism. During many of her summers she worked as a farmhand, picking produce in the early hours of the morning, which made her lean toward telling agricultural stories through coursework and journalism. During her time at Denison, Jen developed her skills as a journalist in a nonprofit newsroom called The Reporting Project, where she covered local news, veterans, and developments in Central Ohio.

Jen’s work has appeared in The Newark Advocate and The Columbus Dispatch. Multimedia coursework helped her hone skills in visual and audio storytelling. She values community journalism for its ability to inform a town about itself and is excited to do just that at Explore Big Sky.
