Managing Editor – Explore Big Sky

After earning a B.A. in print journalism from the University of Montana, Amanda put her reporting and writing skills to work for Outdoor Writers Association of America in Missoula, Montana, and Outside magazine in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

A native of Billings, Montana, Amanda loves travel – particularly if mountains and rivers are involved – and a good story, well told. Insatiably curious by nature, she’s made a habit of writing regularly since primary school. Since joining Outlaw Partners in late 2015, Amanda has enjoyed covering the people, policies, boards and organizations that make Big Sky tick and now leads the company’s bi-weekly newspaper, Explore Big Sky. On occasion, she trades her pen for a camera to tell stories from a different angle.
