Rachel Anderson grew up in La Crosse, Wisconsin. where she completed an Associate’s of Applied Science degree in marketing. Soon after, she discovered a passion for the mountains while spending a summer working in Alaska. Seasonal work, in the hospitality industry, then led her to Grand Targhee, Wyoming. where she spent two years snowboarding in the Tetons.

In 2009, Anderson packed her car and headed north to Big Sky, where a hometown friend showed her the ropes. She quickly fell in love with Lone Mountain, and has remained a part of the Big Sky community several more years. Rachel is currently attending school at Montana State University in Bozeman, where she is completing an undergraduate degree in liberal studies. She loves fried cheese curds like any true Wisconsinite.
